I have stayed in hundreds, if not thousands, of hotel rooms throughout my life and career. The continental breakfast was 2 kinds of cereal, some bread, hard sweet-rolls, coffee, and OJ. I didn't even chance getting in the shower. Thankfully whoever broke them at least broke them in a position that still allowed it to deliver cold air. The AC did work OK.but none of the knobs actually did anything. The towels were stained with pink and purple ink ( I hope that's what it was!). The floor lamp had NO LAMP SHADE.just a light bulb. However, of the two lamps next to the bed, it was THE ONLY ONE that worked. The top was just dangling by the power cord. One of the wall lamps next to the bed was broken in half. For a room to look like this during COVID. And refused to give me the contact information of the manager or owners. He also tried to tell me that the pictures I took of the room.

Plus my $20 deposit which I was already getting back in the morning anyway. I eventually had to settle for 20$ back out of my 100$. And had not spent more then 20 min in the room. We tied to explain to him that we had walked to the game room accross the street. BUT BC THE ROOM HAD BEEN RENTED FOR ALMOST 2 hours. THE DUST WAS SO CAKED YOU COULD WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE FURNITURE. BLACK SMUDGES ON THE TOWELS TINY BUGS CRAWLING ALL OVET THE BATHROOM COUNTER. DIRT IN THE BATHTUB AND ALL OVER THE FLOOR. And when we got into it immediately you could tell that it was not cleaned properly. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel. The staff at Lone Star Inn looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
